Default Ford influence on S-Type

Here in the States, the S-Type is referred to as a Ford Taurus in evening
clothes. They are pretty much the same car.

I traded in a 01 Taurus for a 02 S-type, if you think they are the same car,
you are highly mistaken.

Translation of webserves' comment:-
"Here in the states there are a lot of people who are referred to as idiots
as they don't know what the hell they are talking about, they are pretty
much the same thing."

Default S-Type aka the Taurus

They are closely related because the S-Type and the Taurus has the same mother. They are the brainchild of Ford Motor Company remember. I don't mind if Jaguar parts are very much likely the same as the Taurus... It still a great car, either way it's a Jag or Ford.
