Removing the catalytic converter?
I have a 2000 Malibu, which I have had for almost 5 years. I have paid more in repairs for this car, than I payed for the car. I just, over the weekend paid $1100 to have work done on it regarding fuel pump and other things. Now, They are telling me it is my catalytic converter. Can I remove it? I was told that I would have to have an h2o sensor put in the pipe that will replace the converter. Is this true? If so, where can I get one? Will it hurt my car?
