I have it at the shop, the mechanic could not find anyhing wrong. Nothing you can do but ignore it. The Dealer will probably hunt it down for you but it's going to cost you then. Probably a loose screw somewhere in the dash. I have the same problem if I roll my drivers side window up to much it rattles so I roll it down just a millimeter or two and no more noise from it. I have the noises too in my car though, unexplained rattles and squeaks but let's face it the Malibu, while a great value, is still just a cheap affordable sedan and you get what you pay for. I'm hoping to move up to an Impala after this car is paid off.
