Default alarm reset. does the alarm disable the engine?

recently the alarm was tripped on my 1990 q45. now the engine wont
start. the engine makes a whining sound and the fan rotates when i
turn the key. yet the engine doesnt sound like it has any compression
and wont start. i am almost certain that the alarm has disabled the
engine or something of that nature, because the car did this once
before and no mechanic could figure out the problem. the timing chain
was inspected and passed as well as the starter replaced last time
this happened.

has anyone else had this problem?

does anyone know how to reset the engine disabling aspect of the
factory security alarm?

you should put the key into the drive side door and lock the car with the
key and then unlock it again then the alarm will go off and the engine
will start.
