Default [928uk] Electric window motor - money saver

Hi all

Top tip if you need to replace an electric window motor.

The motor is EXACTLY the same as fitted to the Saab 900 (79-94)

The original part numbers are:

Bosch 058 FPE 12V (0130 821 010) - passenger/LH door
Bosch 058 FPE 12V (0130 821 011) - driver/RH door

I picked one up from Ebay for £20 inc delivery and fitted it last night with no problems, same part, exact fit.

Best price I could find advertised for new 928 window motor was about £95

Best price I could find advertised for new Saab 900 window motor was about £65

Saab breakers cheaper and availabilty better than 928's I'm guessing.

Now then, don't go telling the Saab boys or they'll put the prices up!!
