Hi

I had this problem, I believe the low side port is next to the compressor
which is on the left hand side of the engine bay and is accessed from
underneath the vehicle.

Andy.

I couldn't find it on my '88 until after I paid for a garage to
recharge the A/C a couple of weeks ago. They fitted new "low side tap"
which was visible pointing forward, low and front of the wheel well,
doesn't seem to be there now though!

On my 87, the low side port is on the driver's side and is right by the
compressor, pointed downward and accessed from under the car. You will
have to remove the belly pan and you may have to move the alternator
cooling duct hose to the side to see/access it.

on my 85.5 and both 87s, the low side is on the fitting that connects the
suction hose to the compressor, high side is atop the LH fender.
