My 2004 M45 has the identical navigation system and I don't have a problemseeing the screen at any time of the day or night. Double check the screenbrightness settings and the day / night settings. I live in the hottest partof Southern California, so your Phoenix conditions are quite similar.Bye."Jim Thompson" <To-Email-Use-The-Envelope-Icon@My-Web-Site.com> wrote inmessage news:val1g21id844tba66ecb36l4nk8bl3j08p@4ax.com...

Does anyone know if they make some kind of a sun shield / cowling for the 2005 Q45 Navigation screen? Sort of like what you see on camcorders so you can see the screen in bright daylight? Thanks! ...Jim Thompson

David, I seem to get a lot of direct sunlight on my screen... maybe
there's a difference in dash shape?
The car was missing the owner's manual when I bought it, and I just
now received a duplicate in the mail. Hopefully I'll now be able to
figure out all the settings ?:-)
