Default "Autobahn" package

Hi all,

How do I know if my 1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue has the "Autobahn" package?
I purchased it used and have no idea. I need to replace the brake
rotors and there are 2 sizes. Standard and "heavy duty" that came with
Intrigues with the "Autobahn" package.

How can I tell what brakes I have?

TIA,

Tim

Find the sticker in the trunk that shows all the RPOs installed on your
machine. It might be on the underside of the spare tire access cover or it
might be on the underside of the trunk lid. Look for JA0 or JB9 per the
excerpt from the service manual below:

a.. There is an (RPO CODE JA9) heavy duty brake system for the Autobahn
package. The (RPO CODE JA9) heavy duty brake system visually looks, and is
repaired in the same manner as the (RPO CODE JB9) standard duty brake system
except that it is larger in size than the (RPO CODE JB9) standard duty brake
system. Before servicing the brake system the (RPO CODE) must be checked
before any repairs are started.

Thank you! That was exactly the info I needed! I can now order my new
rotors. (BTW I have the standard JB9's)

Thanks again,

Tim
