I'm glad it worked for you. I've had a few Fieros and it seems like I've
had to perform this same repair on them several times each. It looks like
the design is such that some dirt gets sucked into the valve. I probably
should have mentioned that you can also put a small drop of light oil on the
shaft that the pintle rides on. This seems to work a few times before you
have to spend the bucks to buy a new valve. It also helps to clean the
pintle seat up inside the throttle assembly.
Only 63k on an 85, that's pretty sweet! Have fun with it!

I got an 85 GT 6cyl about a month ago 63K miles its been running good until the last week now it stalls at intersection when I stop. It runs fine while I am driving it. Last night I took it out and it ran great today agian it keeps stalling when I stop. Help Thanks Hank
