Default Outback 12volt socket

Just bought myself a 2005 outback 3 litre R and am disappointed that they do
not fit a 12 volt socket in the cargo area. Does anyone know if the wiring
is there and if so, where it is located so that I can fit the socket myself.

Thanks in advance

Socket is there. Open small compartment behind left rear wheel. Small
storage area in there also.

Hmmm..... Maybe check www.subarugenuineparts.com or other discount
dealers on-line and see how much the kit costs. At least try to get your
local dealership to match the price.

are there any extra sockets on the '02 legacy wagon (besides the
obvious one below the radio)?

i would love to have one inside the armrest storage box, and another
one in the rear cargo area, if there are any easy ways to install them
(like kits)...
