Adjusting linkage in 1994 Bonneville

I was woundering if someone could help me with adjusting the linkage on a
1994 Bonneville.I let a freind who said he could fix it now it won't go
into any gear.If someone could help I would appreciat it or if you could
give me a web site where I could find some information.Thanks Will.
