Default Alfa 156 TSpark Catalytic Converter

I suppose it had to happen at some point - given that the car has around
120k miles on it now - the 'brick' inside the catalyst has come loose
and is rattling around inside it's housing.

A bit of digging around on the 'net shows that they can be had for very
little money - around 80 quid, delivered.

Has anyone ever replaced one themselves? - it doesn't look as bad as
most jobs as it involves flat mating surfaces rather than flanged pipes.

Currently deciding if it's something I could do with a trolley jack and
axle stands on the drive.
